Conscious Leaders Always Choose From Possibility

Who would forget the ever-famous line of Peter Parker’s (Spiderman) grandfather, 'With great power comes great responsibility.'

Society expects Spiderman, a comic book, TV, and movie superhero, to be dedicated to saving his town, or even the world, in some instances, from evil because he has superpowers. From all the episodes he appeared in, he never let us down. With the power he possesses, he makes sure to be committed in using it for the good of the people around him.

Leadership is not at all different from being superheroes. Yes, you may not have superpowers like Superman and Spiderman, but you have the power to choose to become a conscious leader.

While this may sound like an elitist statement, it isn’t. Living the life of the conscious leader is simply a way of saying living a life based on conscious awareness.

It is living the generative lifestyle the way it should be lived, according to universal principles. When I say the words “conscious leader,” I am not referring to someone being better or more important than someone else.

Being conscious is the inner power that overcomes the desire to indulge in unneeded and worthless habits, and the inner strength that overpowers inner emotional and mental opposition for taking action. It's among the fundaments of success, both for life, and business.

This is so much greater and stronger than superheroes' powers since it is a power that can be used by everyone in this world. Becoming a conscious leader is not difficult or complicated. What it really comes down to is your willingness to embody and be the greatness that you could truly be.

If you are willing to embody and be the greatness that you truly are and function from conscious awareness, you can contribute what will create consciousness on this planet for you and everyone else.

The capacity to conceive and articulate new and different possibilities is the essential skill of conscious leaders.

Conscious Leadership isn’t a title; it’s a choice. Do you choose to lead with conscious awareness or not? It is a personal choice. There is no formula. There is no prescription for how to be conscious and aware.

Being a conscious and aware is not a special power that only a chosen few are fortunate enough to be born with. It is an innate ability, like breathing and eye-hand coordination. It can be strengthened and enhanced through training and practice.

Consciousness is a choice, just as unconscious and anti-conscious are choices. You begin to become conscious leaders at the moment when you choose for yourself to be conscious.  Conscious leadership is about right here, right now.  It is the moment you choose to be all that is possible.

When you make the choice to be a conscious leader, you get an awareness of an energy that is a possibility. You have the awareness to know what is happening, where you are going, and you will be able to generate something totally different.

When you think about it, in today’s business environment, that’s everything. When you have awareness of something different and when you committed to create different possibility - how differently do you show up?

Choosing to lead with conscious awareness is powerful.

Function from conscious awareness gives you access to creativity, ideas, excitement, energy, inspiration, ingenuity, commitment, original idea, joy, and fun.  ‘Conscious awareness’ unlocks full engagement.

The power to create and lead your business towards success and different possibilities come with awareness and your ability to be in the generative moment of "What else is possible?" Except you have to be willing to have a level of receiving that comes from possibilities.

Your awareness will expand exponentially when you expand your ability to be in the generative moment of “What else is possible?”

Being in the generative moment is something that’s uncommon for most people.

We are pulled in so many directions by too much hassles, too much obligations, too much yearnings and too much rushing. All this does is cause our mind to be always in the past or in the future and worry about what might happen. The result is a contraction of awareness and inability to stay present in the moment. Contraction of awareness is a default coping mechanism.

The only thing that exists right now is the very present moment that you live in. From this present moment, you can draw tremendous power, the kind of power that can change your life and allow you to expand your awareness.

Being in the generative moment is the act of being present with what is or placing your energy on what you are doing and your surroundings; your mind is not in the past nor is it in the future. It is right here, right now.

Here are some simple things that you can be and do right now that will cultivate your ability to be present with what is, subsequently allowing you to expand your awareness.

1. Be with what’s happening right now. Pay attention to what’s going on around you. Often, we're so trapped in thoughts of the future or the past that we forget to experience, let alone enjoy, what's happening right now. The best way to be with what’s happening right now is by being more conscious of the moment in which you are here and now, conscious of your body, conscious of your thoughts and feelings.

Just let go and let yourself be in the moment.  Being with your thoughts, feeling and emotions as they are. Become an observer of your thoughts from moment to moment without judging them.

For example, when you are walking, take a moment to observe the small and large movements you make while walking, perceive the sensations of your body, how objects seem to move past you, the temperature, the wind, etc.

2 Practice allowance instead of alignment and agreement or resistance and reaction. Allowance is seeing what you can see—and not having a point of view about it. When you take a point of view, you cannot have all-encompassing awareness. All you can have is a point of view. If you can learn to live as interesting point of view, then you will start to expand your ability to be in the generative moment.

The best way to practice allowance is making a commitment to do interesting point of view with every single solitary point of view, not judge which ones are right, which ones are wrong, which ones are good, which ones are bad, which ones you like and which ones you don’t like. This way of being may seem strange, but what it does is open you up to a different way of viewing the world.

3 Practice viewing the world in a different way. Step into the unknown, be willing to let go of any conclusion, projection, expectation, judgment, preconceived notions, and allow yourself to receive everything from everyone without judgment.

Try something new. Be the space that includes everything and judges nothing.

Whenever you catch yourself doing something out of habit, STOP. All of these will help you expand your awareness

4 Be Open Minded, let go of a fixed idea or concept and embrace the unknown. Being conscious is an experience of expanding our awareness beyond its present limits. It is a state of flexible awareness, with no fixed points of view. Every fixed point of view you have limits your ability to be conscious and aware.

For example, when you're talking to someone, be attentiveness and really listen. Make a conscious choice to focus on being present, on really listening, on really enjoying your time with that person. How often have you spent time with someone but have been thinking about what you need to do in the future? Or thinking about what you want to say next, instead of really listening to that person?
